FLAVORS OF NORTHEAST OHIO

Flavors is a cuisine for a cause that goes beyond the traditional gala providing guests with the unique experience of having a top local chef prepare a multi-course dinner tableside. The evening showcases the signature dishes of our culinary experts and takes you beyond the usual restaurant fare, led by our Culinary Co-chairs Chef Jeff Jarrett of US Foods/Dinner in the Dark and Chef Adam Bostwick. Unleash your inner “foodie” and experience a distinct evening of dining while helping to fund the research, education, and advocacy efforts of the American Liver Foundation.

Join us for a night that you won’t soon forget all while helping to improve the lives of the 30 million people in the United States living with liver disease. The event will include silent and live auctions, Wine Pull, raffle, and an important message from our LIVEr Champion.  Attire is business or cocktail.

All attendees need to check in at the Registration Table in the foyer of The Westin before heading to the Orchid Ballroom on Floor 6.

Meet our 2020 National Flavors LIVEr Champion

Molly was born December 30, 2009; she was a healthy baby. We were thrilled our gorgeous baby girl had finally arrived. Twenty-four hours after she was born, jaundice set in and our happiness turned to fear. While jaundice is fairly normal in newborns, Molly’s jaundice was serious and life-threatening. Overnight, we were thrown from a happy euphoria into a deep despair. Over the course of the next five weeks, Molly underwent a series of blood draws, scans and diagnostic testing. As each day passed, her skin turned more yellow, she stopped gaining weight and became very agitated. No one can imagine the fear that was living inside us.

After weeks of tests, we finally received a diagnosis… Biliary Atresia.
